For the Friday finale of Wedding Week, I am featuring my first wedding from 31 years ago. My mother was the reluctant wedding planner. Ethan and I were 22 years old and we were the first of our friends to get married. We knew nothing and lucky for my mother she had free reign to make most of the decisions. I wore my mother’s wedding dress. Martha Stewart’s Weddings was our Bible. The weather that day was terribly stormy, but thankfully the marriage has been for the most part smooth sailing. 🤍![]()
